2. I didn't sleep well/deep/enough

3. I woke up with smile.    기분좋게 일어났다.

    I woke up on the wrong side of bed.   

      -->  To feel grumpy, irritable; to be easily annoyed. 좀 짜증스럽게 일어났다.

4. It took me 2 months to settle in to my new house. 

   settle in : (새로운 환경에) 적응하다.  << 사람에게 적응할 때는 안씀

5. pot belly /  beer belly

   * pot belly : Someone who has a pot belly has a round, fat stomach which sticks out, either because they eat or drinktoo much, or because they have had very little to eat for some time.

     올챙이 배, 배불뚝이     

* beer belly : (남자의) 맥주 배(맥주를 많이 마셔서 생긴 불룩한 배)

 ==> 굳이 표현하자면 pot belly는 앞으로 툭 튀어나온배, beer belly는 전체적으로 불룩 나온 배

love handle : a protruding area of fat on the side of the body, above the hips

옆구리살!! ㅎㅎ 군살! // 사랑하는 사람밖에 못 만지(?)기 때문에 love handle이라고 부름 

6. time-consuming 시간이 걸리는!!

   labor-intensive  노동력이 많이드는! 

  Cleaning room is very time-consuming.!

   

7. 화나는 감정들의 !! 성장?!!!

8. He is in my way .    ---> 그가 길막했어!

   Get out of my way!   ---> 비켜!!

9. If I were you, I would be buying new clothes.

10. embarrassed     vs    ashamed

  * embarrassed : 당황! 부끄! but 일주일안에 잊혀질 정도의 부끄!(사람들 앞에서 엎어짐 등..ㅎ)

  * ashamed  : 매우 강한 감정! 수치스럽다?  컨닝 들킴 이런 케이스ㅠㅠ

11. bring it(A) up :   A를 말하다.

12. to throw a party   :  파티를 열다

13.  He doesn't move a muscle and holds perfectly still . ( 엄청무서워서 ) 꼼짝하지 않고 있었어 ㅎㅎ

   ( doesn't move a muscle = holds perfectly still)

   terrified : 엄청무서워 ㅠ_ㅜ
